Training / Certifications: 200 RYT (Ashtanga and Vinyasa)
How long have you been practicing Yoga? 20 years
Describe your teaching style: I like to focus on linking the mind, body and spirit which is very much influenced by my personal practice in the more traditional styles of yoga such as Ashtanga and Iyengar. I believe that one can reap the full benefits of yoga by getting the fundamentals right, which is why I tend to give more verbal cues and hands-on adjustments so that my students can experience the benefits of each asana. Yoga is also about compassion, teaching and practicing with compassion.
What’s your favorite thing about teaching Yoga?
To know that I have helped someone feel better mentally, physically or emotionally.
