Yoga for Runners
This is my fourth year in CRC and second year as a member of Shaka Power Yoga. I am so glad I found Yoga for my cross training. It's been incredibly beneficial, especially for combating muscle tightness and has helped me strengthen my stabilizer muscles and core. Yoga practice focuses on a lot on the breath which helps me regulate my breathing while running, too.

Running and Yoga go hand in hand for me. I was coming back from injury a couple of years ago and yoga not only helped me gain strength and mental clarity, but I gained so much more by showing up on my mat. Yoga not only enhanced my running experience, but I found a community that I am forever grateful for. Thanks Shaka Power Yoga.
