How long have you been practicing Yoga? 10+ years
Describe your teaching style: If I had to describe my teaching style in one word I would pick empowering. I passionately believe that yoga is a lifestyle that allows people to find their voice and let go of what holds them back from fiercely pursuing their dreams. My classes are challenging, playful, and centered around finding self-love, self-gratitude and inner-peace.
What’s your favorite thing about teaching Yoga? My favorite thing about teaching is witnessing transformation and the energetic shift that people experience when they open their mind to possibility.
Tell us about your Ohana (family): I met my husband Matt in college, George Washington University in Washington, DC, and we have been together since - going on 11 years. During those years we have travelled all around the world together, indulged in the most delicious cuisine, moved cross-country, bought a home together, and expanded our family. We have a six-year old shih-tzu, Nugget, who we consider to be our first child and an almost eight-month old, Lucas, who is the biggest light in our life.
Favorite place you’ve traveled to? It is hard to pick one but my favorite vacation was to Jade Mountain in St. Lucia.
Interests outside Yoga: Food. Cooking. Spin. Traveling. Family time.
How do you define living your life to the fullest everyday? It's simple. Do what makes you happy every day. A full day is a day where you can choose gratitude, love, and happiness and share it with others.
Your favorite quote / bible verse: Carpe Diem.
